To all of you people out there, the Schuetzen Rifle is a single-shot rifle. No Bolt Action, a plain-base lead bullet, either paper-patch or lubed. No gas checks. We have black-powder and smokeless matches using centerfire rifles at 200 yards. The .22 LR matches are shot at 100 yards. Any caliber centerfire rifle is legal at our shoots. Most shooters use a .32-caliber lubed bullet at 180 grain to 200 grained, shot at 1100 to 1500 feet per second. Our matches are 10 shots each, both offhand and bench rest with iron-sights or scopes. These can be shot with fixed ammo or a breach-seated bullet.

We meet the fourth Saturday of the month, March thru October. Set up at 8:30 AM, start shooting at 9.
